8th grade math: page 139 is for homework tonight.

Read the following pages/chapters in your chosen class novel: The Giver - Chapter 12 through Chapter 14 Fahrenheit 451 - Read to the top of page 88 Animal Farm - Read Chapters 5 and 6

Make sure that your slideshow is up to date.  You need to have: 1.  Predictions 2.  Goals 3. Four duplicates of Slide 5, moved under the appropriate continent labels 4.  Each country slide filled in with the following:     -population     -area in square miles     -capital     -map     -3 facts (one must be about geography) The four countries from last week were: USA (North America) United Kingdom (Europe) Germany (Europe) New Zealand (Australia/Oceania)

Read pages 83-83 (sections 7 and 8) In Packet, complete map to show spread of Islam and Summary of 2 sections- 5 key events are given to you (5-10 sentences)

The Giver:  Read pages 1-19. Complete the bookmark and the corresponding assignment in Google Classroom. Fahrenheit 451:  Read pages 1-21. Complete the bookmark and corresponding assignment in Google classroom.

Algebra: You will be presenting your Kahoots on Friday. Remember to have 2 questions for direct variation, 2 for indirect variation, 2 for slope, and at least 1 question asking if the problem represents direct variation or indirect variation. 8th Grade: Your "Equation" assignment on google classroom is due tomorrow before class. 2-1 is homework for the student working in the Algebra book during this time.

Make sure you are reading 30 minutes outside of school daily. I am noticing low page totals every week. If you are completing your daily reading you should accumulate between 60-100 pages every week. Remember, you are attempting to meet a page goal that you have set for yourself.

Please work on Lesson 9-1 Practice on page 127. It is due 1/3/19.
